The Paris-Bourbon County Digital Library is a community-based and driven project. The goal is to gather historical photos, audio, video, and documents that describe and portray the history of Bourbon County, its settlers, its economy, its land use, geography, geology, and so forth

As a community project, the success will be determined by individuals and organizations who partner, providing materials and volunteer time developing this, the community's digital library.

Because history is happening every second, the Library will include samples of modern/current materials to document that emerging history

The library uses open source technologies to further the notion that this is a sharing and interacting project, one that belongs in the commons and to the people.

If you are interrested in participating, please contact the Library at 859-987-4419 or madler@bourbonlibrary.org.
